About Us

Our Story

Since 1977, we have worked with for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations, foundations, and government agencies to help them make a positive impact in the education market – and achieve measurable, strategic goals. From strategic planning to full project or program implementation, MMS Education partners with clients to create customized solutions that best meet their requirements, timeframe, and budget.

Founded by Ed Meell, a former educator and McGraw Hill executive, the company was started as a consulting firm, helping clients develop their marketing and product plans for the education market. Within a few years, clients asked for help implementing these plans — and we became a full service provider. During the past four decades, we have developed, planned, launched, and managed numerous ground-breaking, innovative education initiatives for clients as diverse as Time Inc., GTE (later Verizon), Turner Broadcasting, Dairy Management, ETS, The Walt Disney Company, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Share Our Strength, the GENYOUth Foundation, The Cooper Institute, and many others. Education has remained our only focus, and we understand the education market, its unique requirements, and its ever-evolving privacy and other regulations.

We have evolved from producing films and filmstrips for clients to developing, managing, and implementing robust education outreach programs that integrate digital and customized software solutions, which speak to the tech-savvy, mobile educators and students of today. We take great pride in developing ground-breaking programs that yield measurable results and advance our clients’ goals on time and on budget. We have the knowledge, resources, and staff to collaborate with you, conceive ideas, and best practices, and bring visionary education-based initiatives to fruition.
