The MMS Education team gathers to celebrate the company’s 40th Anniversary.

Founded by Ed Meell in 1977, MMS has worked with for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations, foundations, and government agencies to help them make a positive impact in the education market—and achieve measurable, strategic goals. From strategic planning to full project or program implementation, MMS Education partners with clients to create customized solutions that best meet their requirements, time frame, and budget.

During the past four decades, MMS has developed, planned, launched, and managed numerous ground-breaking, innovative national education initiatives for clients as diverse as Time Inc., GTE (later Verizon), Turner Broadcasting, Dairy Management, ETS, The Walt Disney Company, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, American Heart Association, Share Our Strength, the GENYOUth Foundation, and many others.
“We are extremely grateful to all our fabulous clients, employees, independent contractors, and vendors that have worked with us during the past four decades. While the types of services we provide have changed over the years, our commitment to our core values—excellence, creativity, collaboration, accountability, and integrity—has remained constant,” said CEO Susan Meell.

MMS credits its four decades of success to its ongoing commitment to clients—listening to their needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and then implementing with fidelity and rigor. Some of the keys to success have been the ability of the organization to remain flexible, incorporate change quickly, and stay ahead of developing trends. “As you can imagine,” adds Meell, “our work output has changed significantly in four decades, from producing printed materials, films, and filmstrips for clients to now, where our team of approximately 40 full-time staffers and numerous independent contractors work to help clients develop, implement, market, and manage robust education outreach programs that integrate digital and customized software solutions.”

Founder Ed Meell, CEO Susan Meell, and Karen Ellis, Principal cut the celebratory cake.

The other consistent factor to our success is that “Education has remained our only focus; we have never deviated from that path. As a result, we have a deep understanding of the education market, its unique requirements, and its ever-evolving regulations concerning student privacy and other regulations,” Meell said. “I think I can speak for our management team and employees when I say we share a strong sense of pride and personal fulfillment knowing the work we do every day is helping improve education and the learning experience for students and teachers nationwide. It makes a difference—and that matters.”

MMS Education offers three core areas of service: Program Strategy & Management, Custom Software & Digital Solutions and Customer and Product Support. For more information about MMS Education, visit www.MMSEducation.com.
