Bridget LeBender

JOINED MMS IN: 2011

RESPONSIBILITIES: As Director of Finance, Bridget oversees all financial aspects of MMS Education, including supervision of the full range of accounting functions — from invoicing to payroll and cash flow. She manages all the financial reporting, maintaining full compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal controls of receipt and disbursements. In addition, Bridget works closely with senior management and project managers to develop, track, and manage project budgets, prepare business forecasts, and conduct project reconciliations and analysis. Bridget also plays a key role managing the relationships with our outside professional advisors, including our accounting firm, bank, and employee benefit providers.

PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: When Bridget joined MMS Education, she brought more than two decades of business experience as an office manager and full-charge bookkeeper. She has extensive experience in the insurance and benefits area from working for Managed Benefit Strategies, Inc., Buckingham Insurance Services, and MetLife, as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. In addition, for 10 years Bridget ran an independent bookkeeping business for small businesses.

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree in accounting from Bucks County Community College and B.S. in accounting from Holy Family University.

PERSONAL: Bridget is a lifelong volunteer. She has given back to her community by serving as an usher and volunteer coordinator at St. Ignatius Church and as the PTO Treasurer for the Pen Ryn and Washington Crossing Co-Op schools. Bridget has worked to end hunger by volunteering at the food pantry for Holy Trinity Church and has promoted education by providing office and library support for Villa Victoria Academy. Bridget and her husband reside in historic Yardley with their two sons. She loves being outdoors and enjoying nature, whether sharing long walks on the canal with friends or at the beach with family, or reading a good book under a tree.
