Blocks Rock! came to MMS with the goal of expanding their consumer-facing product into the elementary education market as a fun and engaging way to introduce STEM to Pre-K to grade 3 students. Their product uses gamification and friendly competition to help students build computation thinking, and communication and collaboration skills.
In January of 2020, MMS began working with Blocks Rock! to test a direct-to-school marketing and sales program. The program launched in February 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, efforts were suspended on March 10, and the team worked quickly to revise strategy and pivot to a product giveaway program.
