TITLE: CEO

JOINED MMS IN: 1986

RESPONSIBILITIES: Susan’s primary responsibilities include overseeing MMS Education’s long-term strategy and growth, guiding new business development and building the company’s management team. Susan also serves as a consultant and executive project manager for many clients helping them evaluate their position in the market, reviewing their sales and marketing initiatives and testing and developing new strategies for growth.

As the CEO of MMS Education, Susan works with the Executive Team to evaluate how they can continually improve and update the services we provide to its clients.  In the past few years this has included expanding its technology-based solutions, such as the development of information management solutions, including EdReach.info, a customized, proprietary CRM system we use with clients in the education market.

Susan is a featured speaker at industry events and webinars, and has contributed to a number of professional marketing and education newsletters.

PERSONAL: Susan loves any activity on a beach, taking walks, reading and going to the theater or opera.  Contrary to the belief that cats cannot be trained, she has developed the unique ability to herd cats and does so on a daily basis with two feisty white Persians who respond (usually) to the clap of her hands.

Susan notes, “Ever since I joined MMS Education in 1986, I have loved the challenge of helping our clients solve problems and find new solutions in the education market. Through our efforts and the many programs we have helped our clients develop and implement, I know we have changed the lives of teachers and students nationwide – and that is the greatest reward of all.”
