Since 1987, MMS Education has marketed FORTUNE Magazine for Time, Inc. through the FORTUNE Education Program. The program provides low-cost subscriptions to FORTUNE Magazine for college students, plus resource materials for professors to help them use the magazine in their business classes. We write and edit the FORTUNE Preview Guide and deliver it to participating professors prior to delivery of the magazine. We also develop quizzes based on the magazine’s content and online resources to help professors present business information to their students in a timely, engaging manner.
MMS Education developed a targeted e-mail marketing program that delivers FORTUNE magazine samples to participating professors as each semester begins. Combined with precisely timed follow up based on the varying college start dates, this program has been successful in retaining a high rate of participating professors each semester. In 2007, MMS grew the number of subscriptions, number of new orders and total program revenue over 2006 levels.
In order to expedite an early subscription start for students, MMS Education also does online data entry into the Time subscription fulfillment system, one of only a few vendors permitted to access that system. The dedicated MMS Education team manages both sales and customer service so the customer has a seamless experience.
