Striving to increase awareness of its programs designed to improve the nutrition of students and enhance school wellness, the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association (MDA) turned to MMS Education for help in implementing its outreach programs.
MMS Education works with MDA to plan, manage and track its outreach program through conferences, workshops and conventions in seven states. We help MDA coordinate schedules and planning with state and regional professional organizations; we look for ways to increase the value of MDA’s presence at these events through speaking opportunities, special events and sponsorships; and we developed and maintain a web-based planning/tracking system that enables MDA staff in several remote locations to stay informed and to track and record the results of each event.
In addition, MMS helps to develop promotional outreach pieces for MDA. We assist the organization in its efforts to reach practicing professionals such as school nutrition professionals, educators and school administrators to share insights about their work to improve school nutrition and the nutrition education environment in schools.
Understanding the workings of the education market enables MMS Education to help MDA reach the people who make decisions about school feeding programs and achieve their goal of helping to improve student nutrition.
